About me

Marcos Gallego Llorente is a healthcare strategist, researcher and educator working across health system innovation, patient pathway redesign, multidisciplinary care, policy and AI-enabled evidence generation. He developed the lens of Clinical Design to describe how healthcare innovation and the delivery environment around it must be designed together if adoption, evidence generation and scale are to be possible.

His work spans pharma, hospitals and public systems across Europe, with a focus on how therapies, technologies and models of care become implementable, measurable and sustainable in the real world.

At Vintura, he serves as work package lead for WP2 and WP3 in EuroHeartPath, a European cardiovascular innovation consortium, and has led multinational work on MDT maturity and implementation in oncology across hospitals and health systems.

Additionally, he teaches at IE University in Madrid and at UCL in London, and has received five IE University Teaching Excellence Awards.
